Visits to Westports by MNSC and FMM

NST had on July 22, 2017 reported on massive delays at Westports. In this regards, MNSC and FMM had on July 23, 2017 visited the Westport to understand the rootcause to the congestion issue. MNSC was made to understand that the impelementation of the new autogate system after a one month trial period was the main cause to the congestion at Westports. MNSC will propose some improvement initiatives at the next PEMUDAH Focus Group on Trading Across Borders meeting.
