Chairman Message for MNSC e-Directory

MNSC’s Shippers’ Guide to Logistics and Related Service Providers in Malaysia
Dato’ Dr. Ir Andy K. H. Seo, MNSC Chairman

Malaysian shippers continue to face risks posed by the pandemic and the current Omicron variant that continues to impact global supply chains and logistic connectivity. Based on recent feedback received by the MNSC shippers are still experiencing reduced available capacity on shipping lines and container shortage and this has led to persistently high sea freight rates with rate.

Based on feedback received from shippers, identifying efficient logistics and related service providers at affordable prices is key to helping shippers make strategic freight and logistics decisions based on service offerings and price to maintain competitiveness.

Recognising the need for a directory in midst of the constant disruption of global supply chains and logistic connectivity, MNSC is proud to officially launch the MNSC e-Directory - MNSC’s Shippers’ Guide to Logistics and Related Service Providers in Malaysia.

This e-Directory very much align with the Ministry of Transport’s initiative on National Freight Data outlined in the Logistics and Trade Facilitation Master Plan, National Transport Policy (DPN) and Malaysian ITS Blueprint to create a database and one-stop source of information of verifiable logistics, transportation and related service providers for sea, air and land modes of transport.

This 1st edition e-directory which showcases over 11 category of service, will not only have domestic distribution but also international circulation through MNSC’s affiliation with the Asian Shippers Alliance (ASA) and Global Shippers Alliance (GSA) to countries such as United States, Europe, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Korea, Indonesia, Thailand just to name a few.

We look forward to your support for the 1st edition of the e-Directory and would like to encourage Malaysian logistics and related service providers to take this opportunity to list and advertise in the e-Directory.
